About The Car Spa
An Orlando Auto Repair Center Built on Trust
Mike and Helen Hofmann have operated their automotive service center with the principles of value, service, and trust since August 14, 1980. Some car repair shops just want to get you back on the road (and they don’t mind giving you a hefty bill) but Mike and Helen are interested in your car’s long-term driveability, and they want to become your lifetime mechanic. Here’s how they do it:
VALUE
Finding the best price on auto parts
With over 25 years experience in the Orlando automotive maintenance industry, Helen knows how to get the best price for car parts. Sometimes there’s no way around buying a brand-new factory part, but whenever there are less-expensive quality alternatives, Helen will find it for you, and it will reflect on your auto repair bill.
SERVICE
Car repair done right the first time
Providing good auto service comes with experience. Our certified automotive technicians have the training to quickly perform accurate vehicle diagnostics, and have your car repairs completed on time. If you live within our courtesy service area in Orlando, College Park, Winter Park, or Maitland, Helen will even drop you off at work and pick you up when your vehicle maintenance is finished. Find out if you are in our courtesy service area.
TRUST
Only what you need, when you need it
Trust means leaving your vehicle with The Car Spa and knowing that they’ll repair only what you need, when you need it. There is no reason to replace the brakes when there’s still life left on them; there’s no reason to flush the coolant if it’s clean not expired. On the other hand, you want a auto repair technician who will report other problems if he finds them, and will give you an honest assessment of how serious they are and how soon they need to be addressed.
Mike Says:
Where have all the auto mechanics gone?
Each year, repairing cars gets more and more complicated. Elaborate automotive electronics systems control everything with several onboard computers. Finding out why your check engine light has turned on requires plugging into specialized automotive diagnostic equipment. To keep up with the technology of new cars, the crew at The Car Spa undergo constant continuing education. That’s why those in the automotive repair industry don’t refer to themselves as “mechanics” anymore. Automotive Repair Technicians seems more apt.
By the same token, “auto garages” and “auto repair shops” have become “automotive service centers.” But Mike’s not proud; if you want to call him your favorite mechanic at you’re local auto garage, that’s fine. He’s just honored to have your business.
We proudly serve customers from all over Central Florida and the Greater Orlando Area including College Park, Ocoee, Winter Garden, Gotha, Orlando, Apopka, Maitland, Winter Park, and Altamonte Springs.
